This is Townsville from the Douglas MTB track, my No. 1 go-to spot for ‘elevation exploration’. Townsville has been home away from home for the last five years and whilst I can not say it is where I want to live, it truly is a beautiful place to explore!

My name is Klaus and I am an avid enthusiastic about all things running, hiking climbing and travelling. Whilst I can not say I have progressed far from my childhood home of Mackay, Australia, I find great interest in exploring my part of the world. Some say the journey is better than the destination; I say both are equally good!
